Our technicians will collect your backup media from your office on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis and return them on schdule for reuse. The media is transported to and from our vaults under tight security in specially designed shock-proof containers, and in temperature controlled conditions.
After scanning and logging each security envolope in our METROSURE® computer system, it is stored in our purpose-built media vaults. The temperature in each vault is maintained between 15°C and 21°C and the relative humidity is regulated to remain between 40% and 50%. These conditions are monitored 24 hours per day and any fluctuation outside the acceptable parameters triggers immediate corrective measures. Each key system is supported by a hot-standby system in case of failure. In addition to this, emergency power generation takes over whenever main electricity supply is not available. This ensures the ideal storage environment for your data.
In case you require the return of a backup, whether you have experienced a disaster or simply need to refer back to older data, we will promptly deliver the backup media ay any time of the day or night.
